Here's a checklist to help you decide if our site is worth exploring
...and our film worth seeing

1  You are interested in making movies, even a feature film, in a different way and...

2  Even Emus, a mix of fiction and documentary, sounds intriguing

3  It was made for the price of a week in Bali - and the site talks about how that was done

4  It incorporates true stories picked up from the people of Maleny ...well, most of the time

5  None of the locals on the screen are professionals (one's aspiring) yet they are good (see trailer)

6  Even Emus has some great lines but no written dialogue ...improvisation was the way to go we found

7  Even Emus has some convincing performances and yet no rehearsals were permitted
